One word, and a second yes
The same list as /fire, and then a question you have to answer twice.
Write /cancel and the bot lists exactly what /fire lists. Answer with a number and it does not do it yet: it shows you which alert you picked and how many people are on it, and asks again. Nothing moves until you press the button.
That second question is not politeness. You are choosing by typing a number, which is the easiest thing in the world to get wrong, and a 4 where you meant a 3 spends somebody else’s audience with no way back.
Then everyone waiting is told it is not coming, and their sign-up closes. That message is the one they were promised — one sign-up, one message — and this is the version of it where there is nothing to deliver.
There is no undo. Their sign-ups are spent and we have already forgotten who they were, so there is nobody to give back. If the offer returns, send the same link again: it comes in as a new alert, with a new page and a new review.

This cannot be undone, and the alert can never go out afterwards.
The conversations above are made up: the channel, the link, the sentence and the numbers are invented. What is real is the order, what the bot asks for, and that the sentence is written by you and by nobody else.
What they get
The one message with no link in it
They asked for one thing. This is us telling them it is not coming.
It carries the title and your sentence, word for word, because after a month that is the only way they know which one you mean. And it says who called it off: you, by name, or your channel’s address.
Your link is not in it, and that is deliberate. If it were, calling off would be a way of pushing your link to everyone who said yes, whenever you liked, without keeping the promise — a /fire through the back door. The only link is back to their own page, which is their receipt.
Nor does it carry a reason written by you. The only words of yours that ever reach them are the ones somebody reviewed, and a note typed in a hurry is not. What it says is the fact: it was called off.
